WELCOME TO CASA DO CUCO, OUR HOME!
A traditional Galician stone house from the 19th century that has been restored little by little with a lot of love and dedication.
Located in a natural environment surrounded by forests, rivers and hills, it invites both pilgrims and nature lovers
to live an authentic experience and a peaceful rest in the as known “deep Galicia”. Always in communion with
our values of respect for rural life, sustainability and love for our mother earth.
Its land of more than 3000m2 with its Galician “Horreo”, the organic garden and the chicken coop; its wood stove
and period furniture are essential when it comes to achieving this experience and making Casa do Cuco a place where you always want to return.
OUR LAND
Our organic garden is a fundamental pillar for us. Not only because of the commitment to the environment and
sustainability, but also because it reflects the quality and richness of our land.
It requires constant work, patience and a lot of love, but it is a rewarding experience to watch your food grow,
take care of it and then let it take care of you.
At Casa do Cuco we want to share this experience with all of you, offering you products from our garden and nearby.

Casa do Cuco is located in a small stone village called Arxerei, surrounded by forests and trails where you can
witness agricultural, livestock and forestry activities of all kinds.
The town of Friol with all its basic services is only 10 minutes away by car.
Dear pilgrims, Casa do Cuco is far from mass tourism. This means that you will not find us on The way, therefore,
we offer a free pick-up service from the closest points of the Primitive, North and French Way (see PILGRIM for
more information)
